Attorney.plus — Terms of Service
Version v1, effective 2026-05-08 (prelaunch draft)
This is a prelaunch placeholder. Final terms must be reviewed by licensed counsel before any production launch.
1. Not a law firm
Attorney.plus is a technology platform. It is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Use of this platform does not create an attorney-client relationship.
2. The process
You agree that disputes started on this platform will follow this funnel:
- Quick decision (AI-mediated). If both parties agree to the AI-mediated decision, it stands.
- Professional arbitration. If either party disagrees, a professional arbitrator reviews the case. Total arbitration fee will not exceed $1,500.
- Attorney representation. If arbitration fails, each party may engage a participating attorney. Each side pays a $1,500 platform fee to be matched.
3. Consent to platform process
By clicking "I agree to use Attorney.plus arbitration," you agree that the outcome of the AI-mediated quick decision is binding between the parties only when both parties have so agreed.
4. Privacy and audit
Your agreement events — timestamp, IP address, user-agent, and ToS version — are recorded immutably for audit purposes. You may request a copy of the audit record for your case at any time.
5. Prelaunch
No payments are processed during prelaunch. Account creation, case creation, and agreement events are real and stored. Payments and attorney matching are disabled.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the platform, attempt to interfere with its operation, or submit fraudulent disputes.
7. Termination
We may suspend accounts that violate these terms. Audit records are retained even after account termination, anonymized as required by law.
